About
I have been living and gardening in Central Otago for over 20 years. Originally from the UK came travelling went woofing met Wife started living the good life!! Had 2 kids, bought a lifestyle block, horses, chickens, milking goats, bees and a dog. If its not composting and gardening I'm talking about then its must be kitesurfing my other big passion in life.
Community involvement
Long term member of the Central Otago Tree Croppers with 3 years as Chair and presently back on the committee in a supporting role.
Hawea Food Forest Charitable Trust active member since it's inception. Acting chair for the last few years.
Green party member. Includes running fundraising workshops all proceeds to the Greens.
Local schools and kindies. Time given for workshops or class interest projects. Including orchards in schools.

Our vision is to see the arid Central Otago landscape transformed into a 'Lush landscape'. Soils brimming with life, the landscape abundant with lush native areas. Lakes and rivers clean and happy. Everyones Gardens abundant with vegetables and fruit. Bring on the good life. Hands in the soil connecting to our land and ourselves. Abundance.

Have a workshop you want to go to, why not invite some friends over and host it yourself or we can host it in our garden. Pruning fruit trees, Permaculture Orchard, The art of Hot Composting. Fruit tree grafting.... Get in touch and we can design a workshop for you.
We also offer one on one mentoring. For example 'Teaching you how to prune your fruit trees.'
Dr Compost Workshops
